GRANADA HILLS, CA, September 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Annette Patterson, Author, Gospel Singer, Motivational Speaker and Counselor of AP Ministries, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in religious services.
With over 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Patterson is an ordained minister, and mother of five with two grandchildren. She specializes in counseling women, men and youth to help them overcome their pasts, change their lifestyles and alter the outcome of their futures. She has written several soul-stirring books that inspire readers to live their dreams and find true happiness in their lives.
In 1992, Annette founded the Patterson Educational Center for at risk children in Los Angeles, CA. The children enrolled in the center displayed both disciplinary and academic issues, which caused them to be removed from conventional schooling. The ministry quickly expanded to include community outreach, meeting the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual needs of area residents. Within a year she founded the Christian Educators Alliance, which sponsored annual awards luncheons for educators and community leaders. She also created, produced and hosted the Christian Educator's Forum, a platform for educators, community leaders and students to discuss our childrens' educational experiences. Through her personal and professional dedication she received the "God's Woman Created in His Image" Award for 1996 and 2004.
She continues to impact the lives of women through her various seminars, workshops and small group settings: Are you looking for love in all the wrong places, Single saved & satisfied, and breakthrough intensive sessions. In addition to enhancing the lives of men, women and youth through her writings, singing, speaking and other ministry programs, she intends to open five transitional homes along with her mother Pastor R. Smith, for women in recovery to help them become productive members of society and their communities. She will collaborate with local and national businesses, community organizations and others, to train these women to re-enter the workforce or start their own businesses.
