Dr. Jerry M. Gilbert celebrates five years as the General Superintendent of International Apostolic Churches, Incorporated. He is also Pastor of Faith Tabernacle of Wichita Falls, Texas.

IOWA PARK, TX, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jerry M. Gilbert, General Superintendent of International Apostolic Churches Incorporated, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in relationship development.

With five years of experience as General Superintendent of International Apostolic Churches Incorporated, Jerry M. Gilbert is responsible for overseeing the organization that has built 300 churches worldwide. He became involved in his position because his faith was rekindled through his personal experience in having survived polio as a child and seeing his wife recover from what appeared to be terminal cancer. He attributes his success to his faith in God.

Dr. Gilbert retired from the insurance business after almost 50 years. He immediately rekindled his first love of working for the Kingdom of God. A dread disease had pulled his head down to his right shoulder, from which he could not lift it. He promised at age 5, "If you will heal me, I will preach for you when I get big enough." Immediately his head snapped upright and he was healed. He preached his first sermon at age 14 and has been preaching, writing and teaching bible studies ever since.

Because of several miracles that are documented at the University of Arkansas Cancer Center for his wife, during her 12-year battle with cancer, together, they started the International Apostolic Churches, Incorporated. They have built some 300 churches worldwide. He receives no income or expenses for his work with the organization -- it is a labor of love.

Dr. Gilbert received a Ph.D and a Doctor of Theology from Esoteric Interfaith Church. In addition to formal education, including a degree in management, he is a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), and a ChFC, (Chartered Financial Consultant). He is a member and pastor of Faith Tabernacle Church of Wichita Falls, Inc., which is a part of the International Apostolic Churches, Incorporated.
