Anita J. Slanina celebrates 30 years as a kindergarten teacher for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School

HITCHCOCK, TX, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anita J. Slanina, Kindergarten Teacher of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

With 30 years of experience as a Kindergarten teacher for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, Anita J. Slanina is responsible for identifying children's individual and collective learning needs and planning, preparing and delivering instruction that caters for the full ability range within the class. She became involved in her profession because she was inspired by her mother, who was a Spanish teacher, and she attributes her success to the encouragement she receives from her partner and the support from colleagues and parents.

Ms. Slanina received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science with a concentration in Education from Ashford University in 2009. She is a member of the Kindergarten Teachers of Texas and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
