WILLIAMSTOWN, MA, June 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Kurt A. Gabel, Jr., Business Manager for Camp Ashmere, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of recreation management.

Mr. Gabel has 15 years of professional experience in the recreation field. In 2002, he joined Camp Ashmere, a Christian youth camp. As business manager, he is responsible for handling all finances, paying bills, filing tax forms, and ensuring compliance with all state regulations. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Gabel served in the U.S. Army Reserve, from which he retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He also worked as a teacher for several years. He credits the success he has enjoyed in multiple disciplines to his hard work, perseverance and ability to get things done.

An alumnus of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Mr. Gabel received his Master of Education in 1973 and his Bachelor's Degree in History in 1968. He is a certified teacher. In his spare time, he volunteers with First Baptist Church and the Boy Scouts of America.
