SYRACUSE, NY, May 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Burnell Reid, Sr., Pastor for Refuge Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in religious services.

As the pastor for Refuge Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, Rev. Reid specializes in religious studies and counseling. He oversees a wellness program, assists young women in furthering their education and counsels youth. Prior to attaining this position, he worked for the United States Air Force. He became involved in his profession because of his desire to motivate young individuals, and he attributes his success to his hard work and traditional upbringing.

Currently pursuing coursework at Syracuse University, Rev. Reid received his Master's Degree from Christian Bible College in 2009. In his spare time, he volunteers at his local summer camp for 5- to 12-year-old children. In the future, he intends to further develop the church and wellness program.
