Wendell S. Hamner Sr. is the recipient of a doctor of divinity

LACKAWANNA, NY, April 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Wendell S. Hamner Sr., Pastor for Ebenezer Baptist Church, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in spiritual service.

With 20 years of experience as a pastor, Dr. Hamner specializes in teaching. At Ebenezer Baptist Church, he offers counseling services, and works to assist congregation members and their families. He oversees the daily operations of the church, conducts funeral ceremonies and preaches the word of God. He attributes his success to his discipline and focused-nature.

In 1997, Dr. Hamner received a Doctor of Divinity from Martha's Vineyard Theological Seminary. He earned a Master of Divinity from the Moody Bible Institute. He is a member of the Lackawanna ministerial alliance and the Baptist Ministers' Conference of Buffalo. Dr. Hamner volunteers his free time to his local teachers association.
