Sister Mary Ann Jacobs celebrates 30 years in the education field
PATERSON, NJ, April 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sister Mary Ann Jacobs, SSC, Ed.D., A sister of Christian Charity of Mendham, NJ and Principal of St. Therese School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in educational administration.
With 30 years of professional experience, Sister Jacobs specializes in instructional leadership. She is responsible for creating a quality Catholic education, based on and grounded in lasting principles, that is delivered in a loving, supportive Catholic environment. She was influenced by her teachers to pursue a career in the education field, and she attributes her success to her passion for learning, which she acquired from her parents.
Sister Jacobs received her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota in 2004, her Master of Education in Administration, from Manhattan College in 1991 and her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Felician College in 1980. Sister Jacobs is an Associate Adjunct Professor at Manhattan College, Riverdale, NY and a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the National Catholic Educational Association. In addition, she serves on the advisory board of Immaculate Conception High School in Lodi, NJ and on the TEAC Committee for the School Building Leadership Program at Manhattan College.
