With over 50 years of experience as a pastor of American Baptist Churches USA, Rev. Harvey A. Thomas proclaims the Gospel and bolsters individuals' spiritual and emotional needs. He is a published author and has two manuscripts ready for publication. He became involved in his profession because he enjoys helping people, and he attributes his success to his willingness to preach the word of God.

Rev. Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology in1958 and met the equivalency with over nine years experience for his ordination as pastor in May 1981 by the American Baptist Churches USA. He was certified as a Lay-Minister by his home church and certified by the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts (TABCOM) on 11/24/68, serving the then five ABC churches in the city as Chaplain and ordained in May 1981 by the two chuches he was serving. Rev Thomas was recognized by the American Baptist Churches USA, which serves seven churches across the country. He also counseling in county/state correctional facilities on an individual basis.
