Father Constantine Combitsis Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Father Constantine Combitsis spreads the word of God

PALISADES PARK, NJ, March 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Father Constantine Combitsis, Priest for St. Gerasimos Greek Orthodox Church, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in religious services.

With 47 years of professional experience, Father Combitsis attributes his success to his faith in God. His responsibilities at St. Gerasimos Greek Orthodox Church include overseeing parishioners with various problems, counseling, arranging for Sacraments, listening to confessions, and spreading the word of God.

Father Combsitsis' first parish was St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church in Clarksburg, West Virginia, where he served from 1962 to 1966. From 1966 to 1973, Father Combitsis was at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in New York. He relocated to St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church in West Palm Beach, Florida, and was there from 1973-1975, and later went to Holy Trinity in Pennsylvania, where he stayed until 1980. Father Combitsis was at St. Saint Nicholas Church in Atlantic City, New Jersey from 1980-1990, and the Ascension Church in Fairview, New Jersey from 1990-2001.

Father Combitsis received his Doctor of Divinity in 1982. He received his Doctor of Theology in 1981 from the Divinity International Theological School, and his Master of Theology in 1980 from the International Theological Seminary. In December 1962, he became an Ordained Priest, through the Greek Orthodox Church. He married Argeroula Loutraris in May 1962. A member of Who's Who in the East, he serves as vice president of the Ministerial Association. He has two children, named Apostolos and Maria.
