Mitzy Brace Honored for Excellence in Primary Education
Mitzy Brace instructs reading, mathematics and science to 12 to 15 first-grade students
TEXHOMA, OK, December 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Mitzy Brace, First-Grade Teacher at the Texhoma Independent School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in primary education.
With 15 years of teaching experience, Ms. Brace intended to become both a cosmetologist and educator as a young girl. After spending two years involved with cosmetology, she later went to college and became a first grade teacher at the Texhoma Independent School District. Ms. Brace instructs reading, mathematics and science to 12 to 15 students. She also facilitates classroom activities, meets with parents and promotes child development. Ms. Brace attributes her career accomplishments to her love for children and desire to ensure their academic success.
In 1993, Ms. Brace received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Eastern New Mexico University. A member of the Pentecostal Church of God, she is also licensed minister with the PCG. For the past 26 years, Ms. Brace has volunteered her time as a Sunday school teacher at her local church.
