As a senior director for Convoy of Hope's Global Prayer Initiative, James Thomas Lofton II is responsible for motivating millions around the world to pray for those in poverty. He became involved in his profession because he had always been an ambassador for hope and an advocate of the poor, and he attributes his success to his faith in God and the support he receives from his family and mentors.
Mr. Lofton is pursuing a master's degree in child development from Malaysia Baptist Theological School, having received a Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies, philosophy and psychology from Evangel University in 1985.
