Jane D. Ulbrich Honored for Professional Excellence
Prior to her retirement, Jane D. Ulbrich led a varied and fruitful career in medical technician services and religious ministry
CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, NJ, January 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jane D. Ulbrich, Retired Secretary for the First United Methodist Church, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of religious services.
Prior to her retirement, Jane D. Ulbrich led a full and varied career in both medical technician services and in religious ministry. She started as an x-ray technician in Norfolk, Virginia where she worked at Norfolk General Hospital, now Norfolk Sentara. When she married and moved to New Jersey, she worked at Newcomb Hospital in Vineland and Bardette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, now Southern Regional, in Cape May Count House, New York. In 1971, she began to work at First United Methodist Church as a secretary, a post that held her responsible for managing clerical and office duties and overseeing the church in the pastor's absence. On a daily basis, she could be found filing, typing, sending correspondence, preparing brochures, coordinating programs and handling phone calls.
Ms. Ulbrich additionally served as a secretary for her local Salvation Army for over three decades. She is a certified x-ray technologist and credits her success to her religious beliefs and the wonderful people with whom she has worked.
