General Vice Bishop Malcolm S. Johnson, DD Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals

WILSON, NC, December 3, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- General Vice Bishop Malcolm S. Johnson, Pastor for the General Assembly of the Church of Christ and St. Rose Church of Christ, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in religious services.
With 31 years of experience in his field, Mr. Johnson excels in mediation and rapport development with seniors and young people. As the General Vice Bishop and a pastor for the General Assembly of the Church of Christ and St. Rose Church of Christ, he is responsible for promoting harmony, spreading the word of God, developing public relationships, interacting with the community and expanding the church. Previously, he was a juvenile corrections officer for 24 years. Mr. Johnson is currently in his sixth term of office as mayor of Dover and is also staff minister of the local funeral home. In November, he completed his 10th mission to Africa. An honorary tribal chief in Ghana, he is also involved in the local Masonic lodge and ministerial alliance. He attributes his success to his small country community lifestyle, Christian upbringing and to the support he receives from his parents.
Mr. Johnson received his Doctor of Divinity from Ashwood University in 2007, his Master of Divinity from Friends University in 2004 and his Bachelor's Degree from Mount Olive College. He hopes to become a professor at a seminary or a Bible college.
