MIAMI BEACH, FL, November 3, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Carlos M. Cruz, Administrator of Jackson Memorial Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in administration.
With 13 years of service as an administrator for Jackson Memorial Hospital, Rev. Cruz is responsible for overseeing administration, handling budget planning, administering drug testing, attending to patients and their families, and supervising personnel, patients and families. He has always wanted to help people, and he attributes his success to his commitment.
Rev. Cruz received his Master of Arts in Administration from C.W. Post Campus and his Master of Arts in Theology from St. Thomas University. He is a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and the Clinical Chaplains Association. Prior to his current position, he established an open heart program at Punta Gorda Medical Center, where he served as the associate director in charge of cardiovascular services.
