Principal Of One Of Australia's Finest Educational Facilities Shows Her Supreme Quality Of Leadership
Fay Gurr has joined the ranks of Stanford Who's Who for her integrity, determination and knowledge in the Educational Industry.
SYDNEY, NSW, AUSTRALIA, November 25, 2009 /Stanford Who's Who/-- Fay Gurr has joined the ranks of Stanford Who's Who for her integrity, determination and knowledge in the Educational Industry. In her current position as Principal of St. Vincent's College, she has shown the brand of leadership needed to run one of Australia's finest educational establishments.
St. Vincent's College was started in May of 1858 under the care of the Sisters of Charity. It is the longest standing Catholic Day and Boarding School for girls in Australia. The objective of the Sisters of Charity was to meet the needs of the portion of the youthful community who required a religious, solid and useful education. To this day they still uphold those standards in their tradition of Ignatian Spirituality. The institution's students are greatly encouraged to find God through experience, reflection and action.
Gurr is responsible for Educational Leadership along with Organizational Leadership of the entire college. She ensures that all quality standards are met.
Fay earned her Master's Degree in Education and Sociology from The University of New Castle in 1993.
Gurr is a Member of the Catholic Principals' Association as well as President of the Rotary Club and aspires to one day found her own college.
