Rev. Hans-Fredrik Gustafson Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Rev. Hans-Fredrik Gustafson celebrates his 49-year career in religious service
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL, September 4, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Dr. Hans-Fredrik Gustafson, retired Ordained Lutheran Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in religious services.
Throughout his 49-year career as an ordained Lutheran pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Dr. Gustafson excelled in interim ministry, reformation history, ecumenical studies and liturgical and homiletic leadership. Since retiring eight years ago, he has served as an interim pastor at Advent Lutheran Church in Boca Rotan, Zion Lutheran Church in Deerfield Beach and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Margate. He also served the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut for two years. He is licensed as an Episcopal priest in addition to being a Lutheran priest. Dr. Gustafson saw his career while in youth programs and knew his path from that point on. He attributes his success to his determination, perseverance and commitment to God and the Gospel.
Dr. Gustafson received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1993 and his Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theolgy at Chicago in 1960. He is a member of the Interim Ministry Network and the Augustana Heritage Association. He intends to do more traveling, to continue his interim ministerial work and learn traditional Spanish.
