Michelle A. Lemiesz Named to Exclusive Membership Organization
Michelle A. Lemiesz realized her passion for chaplaincy after working with a hospital chaplain

COLUMBUS, OH, September 1, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michelle A. Lemiesz, Director of Chaplaincy Services for Mount Carmel East Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in religious services.

Michelle A. Lemiesz has 11 years of experience as the Director of Chaplaincy Services for Mount Carmel East Hospital. She is responsible for coordinating chaplaincy services ar Mount Carmel East and New Albany. This includes scheduling, human resource administration, providing pastoral care for patients, writing reflections, prayers and newsletters for the Mount Carmel community as well as leading worship services and managing administrative duties. She became involved in ministry after working with a hospital chaplain as a nursing professional. She realized this experience to be her calling into chaplaincy and has since pursued the proper education to succeed in the fields of healthcare and ministry. She attributes her success to her education, faith, upbringing and to the values instilled by her parents early on in life.

Chaplain Lemiesz completed her residency in Clinical Pastoral Education at St. Joseph's Medical Center, her Master of Divinity from the University of Notre Dame in 1994, her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Daemen College in 1990, and her Associate in Applied Science from Trocaire College in 1987. She is also a board-certified chaplain as of 2001 and has been published in the area of spiritual care. She is a member of The National Association of Catholic Chaplains, and a founding member of the Chaplains Association of Ohio who served as the first president of the organization from 2006 to 2008.
