Duncan Campbell Stanton, Ph.D., to Be Profiled in Exclusive Registry

WINTER HAVEN, FL, August 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Duncan Campbell Stanton, Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor for Heartland Community Church, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in spiritual services.
At Heartland Community Church, Dr. Stanton is responsible for counseling for marriage and family therapy, training in church with new believers as well as prison ministry with inmates, and overseeing mentoring programs and temperment profiles. He was ordained in April of 1993. He retired after 30 years in the manufacturing industry. Dr. Stanton also worked as a sexual assault crisis counselor at YWCA for three years, and was in the Marine Corps for four years, two of which were served in Vietnam. He was licensed as an FAA airframe and powerplant mechanic.
Dr. Stanton received his Ph.D. in Christian Psychology from Cornerstone University in 2004. He is certified in substance abuse and addiction therapy, crisis and abuse therapy, integrated marriage and family therapy, group therapy, domestic violence and intervention therapy, cognitive therapy, death and grief therapy, sexual therapy, and child and adolescent therapy. In addition, he is board certified as a clinical supervisor with the National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists, and is currently pursuing his certification for Prison Chaplain at Chaplain's Academy. Dr. Stanton is a member of the National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists and the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling.
