Norfolk, VA, July 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Kathleen M. R. Monge, Senior Pastor for Miles Memorial United Methodist Church in Norfolk, Virginia has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of spiritual services.

With more than 36 years of professional experience in nursing and 24 years serving rural and suburban churches as a pastor, Rev. Monge specializes in caring for parishioners while preaching, teaching and living out the Gospel. She is primarily responsible for overseeing the work of the church including conducting worship services on Sundays. She also serves as a teacher for Faith Community Nurses at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. Rev. Monge considers being able to provide holistic pastoral care to people to be the most rewarding aspect of her career. She became involved in both professions because of her desire to help people.

A contributor to various publications, Rev. Monge strives to be a liaison between medical professionals and local churches.
