CHARLOTTE, NC, April 1, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael A. Cotten, Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.

With three years of experience in higher education, Mr. Cotten is responsible for advising students, managing projects, teaching business communications, reviewing and preparing exams, writing, planning lessons and facilitating services. Mr. Cotten also works as a project manager for the Bank of America and also served as an executive director for a non-profit organization. His poetry has been published in the International Library of Poetry and Anthology. He is also involved with religious organizations including the University Park Baptist Church, the Family Assimilation Ministry and the Room in the Inn Program. He attributes his success to his hard work, determination, education and communication skills.

Currently pursuing his Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University, Mr. Cotten received his MBA from Walden University in 2005 and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2002. A certified notary public in the state of North Carolina, he is a member of the National Black MBA Association. Mr. Cotten hopes to obtain his doctorate and become a full-time faculty member at the university, a director of MBA programs or dean of undergraduate students.
