Donna Berberich Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
She began her career teaching younger children and attributes her success to her determination and never giving up on her students.
BROOKHAVEN, NY, April 9, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Donna Berberich, Reading Specialist at Bellport High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.
With 22 years of experience in education, Ms. Berberich specializes in working with dyslexic students. On a daily basis, she is responsible for dealing with dyslexic and disadvantaged students, teaching reading and developing strategies to help dyslexic students read. Ms. Berberich is proud to have achieved success within her first year helping dyslexic students learn to read and then having the satisfaction of watching them graduate. She began her career teaching younger children and attributes her success to her determination and never giving up on her students.
Ms. Berberich received her Master of Science in Education from Dowling College in 1993 and her Bachelor of Arts from St. Joseph's College in 1988. A member of several dyslexia associations, she was a two-time nominee for Who's Who Among American Teachers. She also serves as a Eucharistic Minister at Mary Immaculate Church in Bellport.
