HAZELWOOD, MO, December 17, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David D. Tipton, Jr., Executive Director of Promotions and Publications for the Home Mission Division of United Pentecostal Church International, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of religious services.

Mr. Tipton has 25 years of experience in religious service, and specializes in promoting publications, organizing programs for church planters and helping people. In his current position with United Pentecostal Church, he is responsible for overseeing and approving publications, handling advertising, approving all advertisements and logos, and traveling on behalf of the North American missions. Honored with the Director of the Year Award in 2006, Mr. Tipton attributes his success to his faith in God, and to his diligence, tenacity and willingness to work long hours.

An ordained minister, Mr. Tipton completed training in marketing and is currently pursuing coursework in Christian education. In addition to his work for the church, he runs a trucking company that he owns in partnership with his wife, and serves as a reserve deputy sheriff. In his spare time, he volunteers with local charities.
