Vivian Pollard-Wright Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, November 27, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vivian Pollard-Wright, Retired Budget Administrator for the Track Department of the Long Island Rail Road, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of public transportation management.

Throughout her 20-year career at the Long Island Rail Road, Ms. Pollard-Wright excelled in budgeting for repairs of the tracks and stations. She is currently working with the Martin Luther King Committee and the Association of Retired Americans, and volunteers for her church, Greater Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, where she sings in the Mass Choir and serves on the Mother & Deaconess Board, the Pastor's Aide Guild and the Senior Citizen Ministry. Ms. Pollard-Wright is a member of the Gold Coast Christian College. She volunteers with the Urban League and the R J Hendley Christian Education Center, helping kindergarten through second grade children who are having difficulty with spelling and arithmetic.

Ms. Pollard-Wright received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Fordham University in New York.
