Ronald Pound Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry
Mr. Pound was appointed [by the Signal Corp General of the Army] to be Career Manager of all 1300 Gs/GM Communications Specialists in the world.

HEPHZIBAH, GA, October 5, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ronald Pound, Elder and Deacon of Miracle Baptist Church, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for his dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of Christian spiritual services.

Mr. Pound has 1 l years in church management and administration. As Elder/Deacon of Miracle Baptist Church, his responsibilities cover day-to-day church operations, finance and budget requirements, drafting of all church documentation, and teaching adult Sunday school. He served as Chairman of the Elders, Leadership and Church Councils, and the Budget/Finance Committees, as well as drafted the Church's 2000 [new] constitution, Bylaws, and Annexes, including job descriptions, polices and procedures, changes and amendments. Mr. Pound's involvement in his Christian profession comes from answering a call from God and his desire to serve his Lord Jesus Christ and His Church, and attributes all success to God-given talents and wisdom.

Mr. Pound had a 30 year military/civilian career, starting with the US Army Signal Corps and ending with Dept. of the Army Civil Service, retiring as a Communications Management Specialist, Gm-14. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Pound was the Chief of the Systems Integration Management office and Computer Data Systems. Mr. Pound, having reached the pinnacle of his career field, was appointed [by the Signal Corp General of the Army] to be Career Manager of all 1300 Gs/GM Communications Specialists in the world. After his appointment, Mr. Pound established a two-year training course at Fort Gordon Ga., whereby personnel in other career fields, who were qualified, could be trained to become a Communications Specialist. At Mr. Pound's retirement, forty students were enrolled in the course. Mr. Pound was a 1972 graduate of The Augusta Law School, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Law. Mr. Pound plans to retire within five years to spend more time with family and traveling with Katherine his wife of 54 years. Mr. and Mrs. Pound are blessed with four daughters, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
