With three years in her current position at the Astor Home for Children, Ms. Jones has over 30 years of experience in spiritual education and counseling as a Sunday School teacher. As a spiritual development coordinator, she is responsible for working with children who have hyperactivity issues, assisting in baptisms, providing non-denominational spiritual counseling and teaching and developing curriculum. She became involved in her profession because of her own family background. Raised by her great-aunt, she can relate to the pain felt by the children who have not had normal relationships with their parents. Also a deacon at Living Word Chapel, Ms. Jones attributes her success to her six children.

Currently pursuing her Bachelor's Degree at Nyack College, Ms. Jones received her Associate's Degree in Executive Secretary Studies from Ulster Community College in 1986. She is affiliated with Win One for Jesus, which helps women develop new lifestyles after completing drug treatment.
