As a marriage and family counselor for Christian Mental Health, Mr. Hunt excels in aiding the mental health of his clients. Through prayer, healing memories, writing and preaching at church he counsels others. He has been a counselor for 38 years with 36 of those years in his current capacity. For 21 years, he served as a pastor.

In 2006, Mr. Hunt published, the book "Sandy's Story," which he wrote with Sandra Rowe. The book is a story about a woman who overcomes her addition through prayer and by healing her memories. It features Christian counseling on how food addiction and other emotional problems can be overcome by personal honesty, the power of prayer and competent counseling. Mr. Hunt has found it to be very rewarding to change peoples' lives with prayer and through healing their memories. His second book will be published in the near future.

He earned a master's degree in pastoral counseling from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. In 1977, he became a licensed marriage and family therapist.
